Doctoral Researcher Position
Interested candidates with M.Sc. in Chemistry and JRF fellowship from CSIR, UGC, etc. are encouraged to email Prof. Talukdar with a CV. However, the candidates must apply formally against the IISER Pune Chemistry Ph.D. advertisement. Only the candidates selected based on the IISER Pune Chemistry Department Ph.D. interview will be considered for the Ph.D. position in our lab.
Postdoctoral Researcher Position
Candidates interested in conducting postdoctoral research within the broad research areas of our lab are encouraged to email Prof. Talukdar with their CV and a research proposal.
Prospective Indian candidates should consider applying for the SERB National Post Doctoral Fellowship (N-PDF), CSIR Research Associateship (CSIR-RA), or other relevant fellowships.
Candidates from other countries are also welcome to apply for postdoctoral positions in our lab, provided they have external funding or are willing to seek funding.
Project Assistant Position
Exceptional candidates with M.Sc. or equivalent degrees are encouraged to apply for funded Project Assistant positions, which are subject to availability.
Master's Thesis/Project Position
Enthusiastic BS-MS and M.Sc. students from IISER Pune are invited to join our lab for their Master's thesis/project. It is expected that the students would have prior research experience in our or any other lab.
Passionate Master's degree students from various colleges in Pune are invited to join our lab for their Master's project. However, it is expected that these students begin working in our lab at least three months prior to the start of their Master's project to become familiar with our research.
Master's degree students from universities and institutes outside Pune who are interested in joining our lab for their thesis/project are encouraged to apply. Applicants should have prior research experience in the relevant field. Please note that there is no provision for accommodation in the IISER Pune hostel for non-IISER Pune students during the project period.
Summer Project Position
Students from IISER Pune and other universities and institutes who are interested are encouraged to send their CVs to Prof. Talukdar via email. After obtaining consent from Prof. Pinaki Talukdar, they should complete the IISER Pune Summer Project registration form.
For IISER Pune Students
Enthusiastic BS-MS and M.Sc. students from IISER Pune are invited to join our lab for valuable laboratory research experiences, including semester and summer projects. We anticipate that these students will also conduct their Master's thesis/project within our lab.
