My interest lies in analyzing complex intricacies of basic biology to deliver that knowledge through teaching and writing to the best of my abilities. I find practicing science as a profession very worthwhile and life-defining.

Akshatha S Ashok

I graduated in Zoology from Government Arts and Science college Calicut and currently pursuing masters in Zoology from Kerala University campus Karyavattom.

I'm broadly interested in the gut microbiome; host-microbiome interaction and particularly how dysbiosis of normal microbiota is associated with certain diseases.

I enjoy reading, cooking and travelling.

Anirudhan A K

A self driven ; motivated PG student, currently pursuing Masters in Zoology from University of Kerala.  The topic, Integrative Molecular and  Taxonomic approaches for the cryptic species of frogs intrigues me greatly. I enjoy reading books, travelling and playing the guitar. 

K.S. Ardra

I completed B.Sc (Hons) Horticulture from College of Horticulture, Bengaluru, Karnataka and am currently pursuing M.Sc (Agriculture) Plant Breeding and Genetics, from College of Agriculture, Vellanikkara, Kerala. I am currently working on standardising the protocol for somatic embryogenesis and regeneration in two rice varieties.

Arun Saikumar

I am an Agriculture graduate who chose this field out of "necessity" rather than passion. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Agricultural Entomology. I'd like to learn new skills and apply them to my field of expertise.

Deepak Rathod

I’m currently pursuing my masters in Biotechnology from Madurai Kamaraj University, Tamilnadu. I did my graduation in Life Sciences with triple major of Botany, zoology and fisheries from S.R.T.M University, Nanded, Maharashtra with Distinction. I have keen interest in exploring different fields of biology and its application-based approach in a way to develop a cost-effective methodology for better treatment and eradication of diseases.

Diptimayee Marndi

I'm a PhD Research Scholar of Zoology Department, Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, Odisha, India. My specialized paper is Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in my last Qualifying exam (Master of Philosophy). My interested area in research and also the PhD work is on the basis of molecular biology. I want to obtain greater achievement in my academic line and to gain knowledge regarding my specialized subject Zoology. 

Falguni Saraf

I am currently pursuing my PhD on the topic Genetic Determinants of strength and physical endurance in non-athletes from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur, Chattisgarh. I have qualified CSIR NET (LS) and Gate exam. I have a keen interest in Molecular Biology and want to explore new techniques in the field. 

Jaishree Yadav

I am pursuing Master’s in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT ROORKEE) and I have  completed my graduation in life sciences  from Hansraj college of Delhi university . During my bachelor's, I learned about many different fields under biology but subjects like cell and molecular biology, cancer biology, biochemistry and computational biology captured my interest.

I  am a Final Year Integrated M.Sc. Molecular Biology student at Yuvaraja’s College, Mysore. I am an Inspire scholar. My key interests include Protein degradation and fine-tuning of cellular protein interactions. I would like to pursue my research career with an interdisciplinary approach. Towards this, I am actively pursuing opportunities to network with professionals in this field.

I am currently pursuing PhD from Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Cooch Behar, West Bengal. My passion in Entomology has driven me to secure Gold Medal during UG and qualified ASRB-ICAR NET in 2021. I am a creative, untiring, open-minded person with dynamic ideas to contribute insect science. 

Neeraj Singh

I'm currently a M.Sc. Botany student at University of Allahabad. I did my graduation with Botany and Zoology as main subjects and secured 93.4%. I have keen interest in plant molecular biology, cell signalling and genomics and its application to solve the modern day problems. 

Neha Chakrawarti

I am currently pursuing Ph.D from G.B.Pant University of Agriculture and Technology. I have done specialization in Genetics and Plant Breeding. I have all the degrees in different states of India and have ample experience of rice breeding. I can speak Hindi, English, Bengali and Assamese languages.

Reshma S Nair

I have completed B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture and M.Sc. (Agri.) Plant Breeding and Genetics from Kerala Agricultural University. Currently pursuing Ph.D. in (Agri.) Plant Breeding and Genetics at College of Agriculture, KAU, Thrissur, Kerala. Presently working on genetic stock identification in cocoa for tea mosquito bug resistance and SNP analysis.

I am curious, outgoing person who loves to experience new things. I always look for ways to expand my knowledge and has a great passion for learning. I am also a good listener. I love to travel and explore new cultures and love to get to know new people.

Sneha Rani

I am a JRF (M.Sc. Biotechnology), Ph.D. Scholar (DST-INSPIRE fellowship) since 2021 at Department of Microbiology in ICMR-RMRIMS, Patna. Currently, I am working on In-silico drug screening (Computational biology) against a validated target in Leishmania donovani causing Visceral leishmaniasis and its evaluation through Wet lab (In-vitro and in vivo murine model). 

Srimathi

I am a Ph.D. Research Scholar working in Molecular Toxicology at Bharathiar University, Tamil Nadu. I am training myself to excel in both wet- lab and Dry-lab skills with the hope of carrying out robust and meaningful research to help us get better understanding of nanoparticle toxicity and to use them efficiently without any cons in drug delivery.

I have completed my B.Tech in Biotechnology and currently I’m pursuing M.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, Maharashtra. Further, I aspire to become an R&D scientist in a biotechnology firm.

I am pursuing Masters in Botany from Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan. I grew up at workplace of Tagore, learned the importance of fewness and philosophy of nature. I consider myself as hardworking, dedicated, enthusiastic, friendly. I am highly interested in gut-microbe interaction, molecular techniques, immunology, microbiology and biochemistry.

I aspire to become a researcher and academician as it would be incredibly meaningful to contribute in creating better healthcare for people and imparting knowledge. Apart from this, I'm interested in sports like basketball and cycling.
