Introduction

Chemical Science, Royal Society of Chemistry and Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune together bring you the Chem Sci 2025: Leader in the Field Symposium from 11-13 December, 2025. The year 2025 marks the 15th year milestone of the flagship and diamond open access journal, Chemical Science.

The two-and-a-half-day symposium is designed to provide a vibrant platform for the growing chemistry community in India. This event aims to foster the exchange of scientific knowledge, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, and provide valuable networking opportunities across various branches of the chemical sciences. It also gives attendees an opportunity to interact with the editors of the journal. The symposium covers wide themes from polymer science, nanotechnology, organic chemistry, chemical biology, computational chemistry to biomaterials, drug delivery and many more.

Important Information

General Information:

Dates of the Symposium: 11-13 December 2025
Venue: C.V. Raman Auditorium, Lecture Hall Complex, Indian Institute of Science Education & Research Pune, Dr. Homi Bhabha Road, Pashan, Pune-411008, India.
Participants, including speakers and poster presenters, need to make their own travel arrangements for attending the symposium.

For Invited Speakers:

Please upload your presentation title, abstract, and biosketch via the Google Form by 15 November 2025. (Download Template)
Please submit your travel plan and other details via the Google Form by 15 November 2025.
Accommodation will be provided to Invited Speakers upon request.

For Poster Presenters and Participants:

Registration is mandatory for all including poster presenters. Registration is already closed.
Poster Abstract Submission Deadline is 30 October 2025. We are not accepting any new poster abstract submission.
Selected poster presenters will be contacted by email for confirmation.

Exciting prizes sponsored by the RSC will be awarded to the best poster presenters, who will also be given a chance to deliver an oral presentation on the last day of the symposium.
We have limited accommodation, preference will be given to the poster presenters. Please note that accommodation will be available on a payment basis.
