We have reached the cap for the online registrations. Few seats are remaining for the in-person event. We shall try to broadcast this event on YouTube. Join our mailing list for getting the link and information about future such events at IISER Pune. We will also post the YouTube link on this site. YouTube attendees will NOT get certificates. We will also not be able to take questions from them during the event.

What: Free 1-day event to highlight the use of AI in research and education at IISER Pune

AI across disciplines: Join nine IISER Pune faculty from various disciplines to understand how researchers are using AI/ML in their own research (Science, Humanities, and Education). The scientific talks will be at a level suitable for Bachelor's and Master's students without any prior exposure to AI/ML methods.
Hands-on demonstration using vibe coding: Participate in a hands-on activity to make a simple app on your mobile phone using vibe-coding (for non-coders).
Open-mic for AI-related discussion: Participate in an open-mic discussion with IISER Pune faculty on the effects of AI on society and various AI-related issues faced by students.

For Whom: Anyone can attend the talks. Registration is free but mandatory for either session.

E-certificates: Certificates of participation will be issued to those registered candidates who attend the event in its entirety.
