Research on Chromosome-Chromatin biology has experienced significant growth in recent years. The discovery of various chromatin modifying enzymes, remodeling machineries, and high-resolution nucleosome structures has provided us with deeper insights into the mechanisms underlying epigenetic phenomena. In India, diverse groups have initiated pioneering research activities in this field, employing cellular, molecular, and computational approaches. For over a decade, this forum has been instrumental in fostering collaborative research initiatives and enhancing international competitiveness. In light of these developments, we are organizing this year’s meeting to focus on the following research areas: metabolic regulation of chromatin structure and function, chromatin-chromosome interactions and aging, chemical biology of the chromatin and its implications in therapeutics, differentiation, and disease. Apart from several active scientists from India, renowned international scientists will also be participating in the meeting.
