Endocrine Disorder Research Phase 1

1. Your research will include a minimum of four references ( one must be your book and one must be a journal ) with proper citation; APA style - there is no maximum limit ( you will need more than four).

2. Research Slide Set:

   1. Title slide with your name, hour, class & year [ 1 slide ]

   2. Body of your research [ 7 to 15 slides ]

   3. Reference slide  [ 1 slide  ]

   4. Black, blank slide as the last slide [ 1 slide ]

3. Proper illustrations or pictures must also be a part of the presentation - you are teaching other classes.

4. You will decide what type of multimedia component will be added to enhance the viewing experience ( video clip, specific article to read, etc...

5. Specific points to have:

   1. Define the condition. What are the signs & symptoms? 

   2. What are the causes ( etiology )? 

   3. History of the condition/disorder or the hormone affected; include who discovered it, where, how, and/or a notable figure with the disorder.

   4. What gland and hormones are affected and why? 

   5. How is it diagnosed; you must explain the test/exam.

   6.  How is it treated, and or any prevention.

   7. What current research is being done on the disorder? 

6.  Share/send your research slide set through Google classroom.

Endocrine Disorder Research Phase 3

1. You will receive a question you will research and find an answer about that topic.  

2. You will create another slide set as a response to the question.

3. Your slide set must have 

   1. title slide:  contains your disease/disorder,  your name, class hour, and class year  [ 1 slide ]

   2. the question you are answering [ 1 slide ]

   3. the body of the answer with citations and a picture that may help to reinforce your answer [  minimum of 1 slide ]

   4. reference slide with proper citation ( minimum of one reference); APA style.    [ 1 slide ]

   5. Black, blank slide as the last slide [ 1 slide ]
