Get to Know Mrs. Amy
My name is Amy Dupre. I am a Pre-Kindergarten teacher at Mire Elementary. This January will mark my 23rd year of teaching. In my 23 years of teaching I have taught both Pre-K and Kindergarten here in Acadia Parish. I am a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and have been a resident of the Rayne/Mire area all my life.
I am married to my wonderful husband Ben for 21 years this past June and we have two sweet handsome young boys which we adore. Benjamin is 18 and will be a Freshman at SLCC majoring in Aviation Maintenance and Technology and Luke is 14 and will be a 9th grader at Rayne High.
Teaching of course is my passion. When I am not in my classroom teaching I LOVE spending time with family and friends on our patio. If you can't find me in either of these two spots then look by the pond, my other favorite past time is fishing.

MISSION STATEMENT: My mission as a teacher is to treat every one of my students like my own child. I will show them compassion and fairness. I will treat each student as an individual accommodating to each of their needs.
