Bo Galligan
1st Model Governor of Texas
Bo Galligan first served in the Texas Model House of Representatives in 2024 and was chosen by the model House of Representatives to be the first Model Governor in Texas in 2024.
Bo Galligan is a graduate of New Braunfels High School and is attending Texas A&M University in College Station, studying leadership and public policy
Born in Alabama, Bo demonstrates core Southern values such as hospitality, respect, and dedication. Whether in school, work, or extracurricular activities, he continuously impacts and encourages members of his communities to improve themselves.
Through local clubs and activities Bo has shown his ability to lead in instruction and develop information. Alongside academic clubs, Bo actively works at a movie theater where he has worked for the past year.
With passion for public service and for inspiring people around him, Bo plans on expand his knowledge through college while serving as the Model Governor of the Great State of Texas and as an editor for the Academy for Public Service's newsletter, the Student Leader.
