We have events space available in Barry, at our Rooftop bar - 297, and in our Underground venue at Academy Espresso Bar.

With cosy vibes, twinkling Christmas lights and the best cocktails in Barry, 297 is sure to impress your guests. Our unique rooftop bar is available for private hire. We can accommodate up to 60 guests and provide food and drinks packages to suit your needs. 

Don’t need the full venue? If you have a party of 10 to 30 people, we would be more than happy to get you booked onto a large table, or reserve an area for your group. Drinks packages are still available for these bookings.

Underground

Downstairs at Academy Espresso Bar is our fun and quirky events venue - Underground. 

Located in the basement of a grade II listed former Pumphouse, this space really looks the part. It has its own private bar and can accommodate up to 60 guests.
