This is my 8th year teaching and my 7th year at AcadeMir Charter. I graduated from The Union Institute and University with a B.A. in Elementary Education and General Science. I have a medical background. This year I will be teaching High school Physical Science, Biology, and Chemistry.

I am an advocate of hands-on, inquiry-based learning. I love getting my students involved in a variety of community service, problem-solving, and critical thinking with the use of technology-infused activities that provide students with opportunities to use their strengths to help others in a life. I am a mother of two wonderful children. Some of my hobbies are traveling, cooking, spending time with my family and friends, being outdoors and enjoying a good movie. I am so excited to be teaching your child this school year..
