Mr. Rojas

Hi! My name is Mr.Rojas I am now on my third year teaching at Academir Preparatory High School! This year I have been honored with responsibility of being the head of the ELA Department. I am a graduate from FIU with a Bachelor’s in Education. My biggest goal every year is to be an ally to my students and hold them accountable when need be but to also be there for them as support. I am very excited to see what this year has in store for everyone here at APHS

Mrs. Lamons

Welcome, Tigers, to the 2026–2027 school year!

I am Ms. Lamons, your 6th Grade English Language Arts, Intensive Reading, and Developmental Language teacher. I am excited to welcome you to a new school year filled with learning, growth, and new opportunities.

My experience in education began as a teenager when I served as a teacher’s assistant, after-school care counselor, and summer camp counselor. During my years as a college student at Florida International University, I worked as a substitute teacher and Reading Interventionist for students in kindergarten through 8th grade.

As an educator, I have taught English Language Arts to students in 3rd through 8th grade. Teaching is my passion, and I am committed to educating, guiding, and supporting you throughout this school year.

I believe that each of you has the ability to learn, grow, and succeed. Together, we will make this a phenomenal year, Tigers!
