Dear Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I am so glad you have become part of our school family. I look forward to learning and growing with your child this year as his or her kindergarten teacher.

I hold a Master’s degree in TESOL and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, and I am certified with Gifted, Reading, and ESOL endorsements, as well as in Special Education.

Kindergarten is a wonderful time for children to expand their love of learning, build knowledge, develop social skills, and explore the world around them. During this important transition, I believe it’s essential that children are allowed to be children. In our classroom, your child will engage in hands-on, interactive activities designed to encourage creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking.

I also believe that children learn best in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. With a variety of materials, a well-rounded curriculum, and plenty of space to explore and interact with others, your child will truly enjoy the kindergarten experience.

Hello and welcome to Kindergarten!

I am Ms. Fernandez and I am so excited to be a teacher at AcadeMir Charter School this 2025-2026 school year. 

I am a graduate of Florida International University. I graduated spring 2024 with a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. This will be my second year teaching in the company Academir. I also have many years of experience under my belt teaching vpk for 2 years at a daycare and dance for 3 years in MDCPS as well as working as an aftercare counselor for 5 years and in a Front office 2 years. 

I am so excited to meet you all and to be teaching this years Kindergarten class. I will make it a point of creating a fun, interactive and safe learning environment for my students.

My name is Mrs. Mac Loughlin. I have been a teacher for many years  and have found my dream job in this career.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and an ABA background and a Master degree in Special Education. Also, I was teaching pre school for more than 8 years and worked as an RBT (registered behavior technician) for 3 years. Working with kids has always been something I love and enjoy.

Structure, behavior and routine  are the most important concepts in our classroom. These will help us achieve a successful school year full of learning and engagement.

I have a sweet daughter ready to graduate  at FIU and a loved husband! My favorite hobbies are long walks on the beach, crafts and travel. I love neutral colors, coffee, mate, chocolate and empanadas!!. I hope to all  have an amazing year together.
