4th Grade

Hello! My name is Mrs. Torres, and I am so excited to be your child's 4th Grade Reading and Language Arts teacher this school year! I have been a proud part of the AcadeMir Family for 10 years, and I truly love what I do. I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and hold endorsements in Gifted Education, Civics, and ESOL. I am looking forward to an amazing year full of learning, growth and great stories. 

Hello! My name is Mrs. Cantor. I am a fourth year teacher with a background in early childhood and behavior analysis. I have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a master's degree in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction. I am a two-time FIU graduate! I am fluent in English, Spanish, and I would like to get better in ASL. I am a lifetime learner and I believe everyone should be too. 

My name is Karina Rodriguez and this is my 3rd year at AcadeMir and my first year in 4th grade. I have experience with grades 1st - 8th. I am Puerto Rican, and moved  to Miami in 2020. I have a dog named Neil and a turtle named Tortilla. In my spare time, I enjoy working out, traveling, spending time with my sister and friends.  I come from a family of educators  including my mom who is a teachers  and I love teaching and inspiring young minds to become creative thinkers and independent learners.
