4th Grade

Hello! My name is Mrs. Torres, and I am so excited to be your child's 4th Grade Reading and Language Arts teacher this school year! I have been a proud part of the AcadeMir Family for 10 years, and I truly love what I do. I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and hold endorsements in Gifted Education, Civics, and ESOL. I am looking forward to an amazing year full of learning, growth and great stories. 

Hello! My name is Mrs. Cruz, and I'm excited to be your 4th grade Science & Writing teacher this year. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from FIU and have spent the last 7 years teaching and supporting students through targeted Math intervention. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence, grow academically, and reach their full potential. I believe in creating a welcoming classroom where every voice is valued. I’m looking forward to an amazing year of learning together! 

Hello! My name is Mrs. Cantor. I am a third year teacher with a background in early childhood and behavior analysis. I have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a master's degree in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction. I am a two-time FIU graduate! I am fluent in English, Spanish, and I would like to get better in ASL. I am a lifetime learner and I believe everyone should be too.
