Vocabulary Words:

Reproduce: to have young
Life Cycle: the changes that happen to an animal during its life
Metamorphosis: the process of animal going to its adult form in two or more different stages (i.e. tadpole to frog or larva to butterfly)
Tadpole: the form a frog takes when it first hatches from an egg
Larva: catepillar
Pupa: when the larva makes a hard covering in which to become a butterfly inside of
Seed: how most plants begin their life cycles
Germinate: start to grow
Seedling: a young plant
Cone: part of a pine tree where seeds grow inside of
