Hello families! My name is Mrs. Ortega and I am the Curriculum Support Specialist/Math Coach for AcadeMir Charter School West. This year, I will also have the pleasure of being your child's Math, Science, and Social Studies teacher! At Florida International University, I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Science Degree in Educational Leadership. In the last 8 years, I have taught all subjects in 3rd-5th grade. I am married and have two daughters. My birthday is December 23rd! I am confident that by working together, this year we will accomplish great things!
