My name is Alexis Capin-Codina and I will be your child’s 2nd grade Reading & English Language Arts (ELA) teacher. This is my fourth year teaching 2nd grade at ACSW. Previously, I have taught 1st grade Gifted, Drama Club, and PreK SPED. I have taught all the subjects, but Reading is truly my passion. My husband and I have 2 kids (who also attend ACSW), 3 cats, 2 dogs, and fishes!

I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and have two teaching certifications from Miami Dade College, with endorsements in Gifted, PreK Disabilities, Reading, and ESOL.
