Your Challenge:
Students will draw and then construct a 3D model of a self-contained plant growth chamber inspired by NASA’s Vegetable Production System (Veggie) and include a written description of how their system will work in space.
Entry Requirements:
Model and written description must include student name, grade and school clearly printed on back of entry
Model is 5”(h) x 14”(l) x 8”(w) or smaller and includes 1 page written description of how the new growth chamber works
Model clearly represents a growth chamber that can be used to grow plants in outer space
Drawing of model is uploaded to entry form.
