I am Mrs. Corrales, and I am so happy to be teaching your child this year! My goal is to help each student build the strong skills and confidence they will need for future success.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, with a major in Bilingual Preschool Education, from Universidad Internacional de las Américas in Costa Rica in 2006. Shortly after graduating, I moved to Miami, where I began my career as an educator. I have many years of experience working with young children, and I am passionate about creating a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment. This year marks my third year at Academir Charter School West, and I am excited to continue growing as an educator while helping my students learn, grow, and succeed.

 My name is Mrs. M. Lopez, and I'm so excited to be one of your child's first-grade teachers this year. I will be teaching Math, Science and Social Studies.

I was born and raised in Cuba, where I graduated  from a Pedagogical Institute in 1996 with a degree in education. I'm also a certified Elementary Teacher for grades K-3rd. With 30 years of experience in education, teaching has truly become my passion. I am dedicated to helping children grow, learn, and become confident and successful students. 

I believe every child is unique and learns in different ways. My goal is to create a warm, nurturing and engaging classroom where students feel safe, supported and excited to learn.

My name is Mrs. Perez, and I am excited to be one of your child’s first-grade teachers for Math, Science, and Social Studies this school year!.

My teaching journey began in 2008, when I graduated as a teacher from a Pedagogical Institute in Cuba. Since then, teaching has been an important part of my life, and I have had the opportunity to support students as they learn, grow, and build confidence in themselves.

This year marks my third year teaching at Academir Charter School West, and I am very excited to begin another wonderful school year with our first-grade families.
