Daily Homework & Classroom Expectations

Daily Homework:

We're using IXL Math for daily homework for 3rd-5th grade, and iReady green lessons for 2nd grade. Your child will need to pass 2 lessons with 80% or higher each week. I will assign IXL lessons in my Google Classroom daily. Although homework is posted in Google Classroom, it may change last minute. Therefore, please follow what is written in your child's agenda.  I suggest to parents to use a timer to monitor assignments so that students don't take more time than needed on homework. Students should be spending 15 minutes on Math daily. Lastly, your help in ensuring that your child completes all their assignments everyday is an important element of their progress in my class.

Absence & Make-up Work:

If your child is absent, I will provide your child with make-up work to be completed by the SECOND day after they have returned. (Example: If your child is absent on Monday and returns to school on Tuesday, make-up work is due by Thursday)
