Hello I am Ms. Fernandez and I am so excited to be a teacher at AcadeMir Charter School this 2026-2027 school year. 

I am a graduate of Florida International University. I graduated spring 2024 with a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. This will be my Third year teaching in the company Academir. I also have many years of experience under my belt teaching vpk for 2 years at a daycare and dance for 3 years in MDCPS as well as working as an aftercare counselor for 5 years and in a Front office 2 years. 

I am so excited to meet you all and to be teaching this years Kindergarten class. I will make it a point of creating a fun, interactive and safe learning environment for my students.

 I'm Ms. Jiron! I am so excited to be your child's Kindergarten teacher this year! This is my fourth year of teaching. I have a Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialization in Exceptional Student Education (ESE K–12). I taught 5th Grade Reading and Writing for my first two years, and last year I had the opportunity to teach Kindergarten. I absolutely fell in love with teaching our youngest learners! I enjoy creating a warm, caring classroom where children can grow, explore, and develop a love of learning. I can't wait to get to know your child and work together to make this an amazing school year!

Hello! My name is Ms. Sanchez and I am so excited to be your child’s kindergarten teacher! Although I am the newest member of the AcadeMir family, I am beginning my 8th year in education.

Teaching young children has always been my passion. I graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and have had the pleasure of teaching students from preschool through 1st grade.

I consider myself a hands-on, caring, and enthusiastic teacher. I strive to create a classroom environment where students feel loved, supported, and excited to come to school each day. I believe that children learn best when they are engaged, encouraged, and having fun!

I am looking forward to getting to know your child and your family and making this kindergarten year an exciting and meaningful experience.

Hello! My name is Mrs. Velez, and I am so excited to be your child’s kindergarten teacher this year! I have been a part of the AcadeMir team for 5 years. Both of my adult children came to AcadeMir for elementary school as well. Kindergarten is such a special time filled with learning, growth, creativity, and lots of new adventures. I cannot wait to get to know each of my students and help our classroom become a place where everyone feels safe, loved, and ready to learn.
