Hello everyone! My name is Lyanna Alvarez, and I’m a proud graduate of FIU. It is my second year teaching kindergarten at Academir. I’ve always had a profound passion for teaching and I am deeply committed to creating a warm, welcoming environment where young learners can thrive.

Hi, I’m Ms. Nunez, and I’m so excited to be your child’s Kindergarten teacher this year! I’ve taught for 7 years, including preschool in a Conscious Discipline school, as well as Kindergarten, first, and second grade. My background in psychology and training in Conscious Discipline help me create a caring, supportive classroom where children feel safe, respected, and ready to learn. I believe in partnering with families so we can help every child grow, thrive, and shine.

Hello! My name is Ms. Perez and I have been teaching for 7 years. This is my 4th year at Academir. I have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction both from FIU. I am very passionate about teaching and I look forward to an amazing 25-26 school year with my kindergarten students!

I am excited to be your child's Kindergarten teacher this school year. I am going into my 23rd year of teaching. I am very passionate about education. Thus, my determination led me to complete my Doctorate Degree in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. I also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Reading Education from Florida International University. Yes, I do love books and plan on taking my students this year on a variety of literacy adventures that spark their imagination and ignite the same love for reading, and learning in general, that I possess.
