My name is Ms. Rizo and this is my ninth year teaching! I have always known I wanted to be a teacher. I vividly recall looking up to the many teachers that empowered me with so much knowledge and helped me realize an entire world could be found within the pages of a book. There are few moments in my life that I can say that I knew something for certain, but I knew for certain that I wanted to be a teacher.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Florida International University. I am state certified in the areas of Elementary Education (K-6) and I am ESOL endorsed.
