My name is Cristina Alayeto and I will be your child’s Fifth Grade Reading teacher.  

I have been teaching for fourteen years and it will be my ninth year with AcadeMir Charter School Preparatory (ACSP).  My bachelor's degree is in Exceptional Student Education and I am certified in Pk-3, Elementary K-6, E.S.E and have endorsements in both Reading and E.S.O.L.  My goal this year is to guide you child in building a passion for reading.  Since education is a team effort, I look forward to working with you and the students because every student's journey matters.

He estado enseñando durante catorce años y este será mi noveno año en AcadeMir Charter School Preparatory (ACSP). Mi licenciatura es en Educación para Estudiantes con Necesidades Especiales y estoy certificada en Pk-3, Primaria K-6, E.S.E y tengo especializaciones en Lectura y E.S.O.L. Mi objetivo este año es guiar a su hijo para despertar una pasión por la lectura. Como la educación es un esfuerzo en equipo, espero trabajar con ustedes y los estudiantes porque el camino de cada estudiante importa.

Hello parents and 5th graders! I am your reading and writing teacher this year. This is my sixth year teaching, my fourth year with the Academir family. I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum Development from FIU. I look forward to a wonderful year full learning.

My name is Ms. Edwards. I will be one of the ELA teachers. I have a Bachelors in Elementary Education from St. Thomas University. I am very excited to teach fifth grade this year!  I hope to make a big impact in all of my students lives and can't wait to see their growth throughout the years.

My name is Mr. Gilmore. This will be my 5th year teaching and first year as a part of the AcadeMir Charter family. I graduated from Alcorn State University with a Bachelors of Science in Recreation and later earned My Master of Business Administration(MBA) from Coker University. I am excited to be your child's 5th Grade Math teacher this year! My goal is to create a positive, engagging classroom where students develop confidence in mathematics, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and enjoy learning every day.

My name is Mrs. Proebsting. This will be my 15th year teaching and my nineth year as a part of the AcadeMir Charter family. I graduated from Miami Dade College with a Bachelors Degree in Education. I have taught Math and Science for grades 2-5.  I am excited to be your child’s teacher this year! I’m looking forward to preparing your child for Middle School along with lessons to assist them in succeeding into the future.
