Meet Our Teachers:
My name is Cristina Alayeto and I will be your child’s Fifth Grade Reading teacher.
I have been teaching for fourteen years and it will be my ninth year with AcadeMir Charter School Preparatory (ACSP). My bachelor's degree is in Exceptional Student Education and I am certified in Pk-3, Elementary K-6, E.S.E and have endorsements in both Reading and E.S.O.L. Since education is a team effort, I look forward to working with you and the students because every student's journey matters.

Mi nombre es Cristina Alayeto y seré la maestra de Lectura de Quinto Grado de su hijo/a.
He estado enseñando durante catorce años y este será mi noveno año en AcadeMir Charter School Preparatory (ACSP). Mi licenciatura es en Educación de Estudiantes Excepcionales y estoy certificada en Pk-3, Primaria K-6, E.S.E y tengo credenciales tanto en Lectura como en E.S.O.L. Como la educación es un esfuerzo de equipo, espero con entusiasmo trabajar con ustedes y con los estudiantes porque el viaje de cada estudiante es importante.

Hello parents and 5th graders! I am your reading and writing teacher this year. This is my sixth year teaching, my fourth year with the Academir family. I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum Development from FIU. I look forward to a wonderful year full learning.

My name is Ms. Edwards. I will be one of the ELA teachers. I have a Bachelors in Elementary Education from St. Thomas University. I am very excited to teach fifth grade this year! I hope to make a big impact in all of my students lives and can't wait to see their growth throughout the years.
My name is Mrs. Proebsting. This will be my 14th year teaching and my eighth year as a part of the AcadeMir Charter family. I graduated from Miami Dade College with a Bachelors Degree in Education. I have taught Math and Science for grades 2-5. I am excited to be your child’s teacher this year! I’m looking forward to preparing your child for Middle School along with lessons to assist them in succeeding into the future.

Ms. Rosado Bio
Hi everyone, I am Ms. Vazquez, and this is my fifth year teaching at AcadeMir Charter School Preparatory and my 12th year working with children. I hold a bachelor’s in Psychology from Florida International University and a master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Miami. My teaching focuses on communicative approaches and creative planning, incorporating cooperative learning and projects throughout the year. I was the teacher of the year for the 2024-2025 school year and I love the ocean. I look forward to a wonderful school year with your child and getting them ready for middle school!
