Hello and welcome to 4th grade! I am entering my 9th year as an elementary school teacher and have spent the past six years working with special needs students. As proud Miami native, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Miami and a master’s degree in Special Education from Florida International University. I have been the school’s Garden Club teacher for the past four years. Outside the classroom, I enjoy gardening, lifting, running, reading, and creating pottery.
Hello! I am Mrs Mantilla and I am so very excited to be your child's Math and Science teacher this school year. I received my Bachelors from Miami-Dade and have been working in the education field as an Elementary teacher for 4 years. I have three children of my own and we love to be outside in our garden and playing in nature. I hope to cultivate a love of the outside in your child this year as well. Looking forward to what the school year will bring!

HELLO!!! I am Ms. Puentes and I will be your child's Science teacher this year. I studied Biology and have a Master Degree in Biotechnology. My favorite activities include travel and camping with my family. I am very excited about this school year. Lets enjoy and learn together.

My name is Ms. Serrano, and I’m excited to welcome you to the 2025–26 school year! This is my fifth year at ACSP, and I look forward to an amazing year together.
I am originally from Venezuela and have an academic background in the healthcare field. Outside of school, I enjoy early morning walks, writing, drawing, painting, and collecting fountain pens. My favorite day is Saturday, when I share breakfast with my husband of 30 years and our two daughters.
I earned my Middle School Mathematics certification at MDC, an accomplishment I truly value. I have taught 5th Grade Accelerated Mathematics, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, and Geometry. This year, I’m thrilled to teach 4th Accelerated Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.

Hello all! My name is Ms. Borrero and I am one of the fourth-grade Reading and Language Arts teachers here at ACSP. I am a proud graduate of Miami Dade College with a bachelors degree in Education along with reading and ESOL endorsements. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, caring for my 2 dogs and cat, and going roller-skating. This will be my third year teaching 4th grade and I couldn't be more excited! In my classroom, we work hard, think creatively, and celebrate each other's successes. I am very much looking forward to this new school year, I am sure it will be nothing short of amazing. ☺️

This is my 11th year teaching in elementary. I graduated from FIU with a BA in Education and a Masters in Reading Education. I am also gifted endorsed. This year is going to be a challenging year but nothing we cannot conquer together.
