My name is Mrs. Bernal, I am originally from Colombia. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Languages and a Master of Education. I have 11 years of experience teaching ESOL and Spanish, this is my second year at AcadeMir Charter School Middle. As a teacher I truly believe each student has a talent to be found and encouraged.   

Welcome! I am Ms. Lopez, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Exceptional Student Education K-12 and have been dedicated to teaching for the past eight years. I have taught across various grade levels, with a passion for nurturing students' confidence through Reading and Language Arts. Outside the classroom, I find joy in listening to music, playing my guitar, and binge-watching TV shows! I also treasure my free time with my two-year-old daughter, Violet, making every moment an adventure. I am excited for this new school year, and am honored to assist in the growth of our students!

Hi there! My name is Mrs. Pereira and I am the English Language Arts and Intensive Reading 6th-grade teacher this year. With a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, I’m all about making reading fun and helping my students get the most out of learning. I am excited to get to know my students and be able to foster a positive learning environment for everyone. I can't wait for an amazing school year!

Hi! My name is Mrs. Trincado and I am teaching English Language Arts and Intensive Reading for 7th grade. Additionally, I am teaching Creative Writing for all middle school grades. I received my Bachelors in English and my Masters in Education both from Florida International University. I am passionate about reading and writing and I hope to inspire the same love for literature to my students. I'm excited to have an amazing school year!!
