ACSM Math

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year.  My name is Mrs. Mago. I moved to Miami, Florida twenty-eight years ago from Venezuela. I have a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems and master’s degree in math education. This is my eight-year teaching 6th Grade Math at AcadeMir Charter School Middle. I really enjoy working with my young students and creating the foundation for their future in mathematics classes. My goal is to help my students succeed and to foster a new appreciation of mathematical concepts, working together to achieve excellence in 6th grade Math. I am looking forward to an amazing school year.

I have a bachelor’s Elementary Education and master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Math Education. This is my third - year teaching 7th Grade Math at AcadeMir Charter School Middle. I really enjoy working with my young students and creating the foundation for their future in mathematics classes. My goal is to help my students succeed and to foster a new appreciation of mathematical concepts. Working together to achieve excellence in 7th grade Math. Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! My name is Ms. Herrera. I moved to Miami, Florida, from Cuba thirty-one years ago. I have a bachelor’s degree in Math Education, and I am currently pursuing a master’s in ESE education. This is my fourth-year teaching Pre-Algebra to 8th graders at AcadeMir Charter School Middle. I really enjoy working with my students to create a strong foundation for their future in mathematics and to prepare them for high school. My goal is to help my students succeed and foster a new appreciation for mathematical concepts. I look forward to an amazing school year as we work together to achieve excellence in Math! 

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year. My name is Mrs. Marrero. I moved to Miami, Florida from Cuba twenty-four years ago. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and have been teaching since 2006, marking my 18th year in education. This year represents my eighth year at AcadeMir Charter School Middle. I take great pleasure in working with my students to lay the groundwork for their future academic endeavors in high school. My objective is to aid my students in achieving success and to instill in them a newfound appreciation for mathematical concepts. Together, we will strive for excellence in Algebra and Geometry. I anticipate a fantastic school year ahead!
