MAIBEL TROIA is a Venezuelan-born musician who graduated in Choral and Orchestral Conducting. She is a pianist, composer, arranger, and educator. Along with Dr. Jose Antonio Abreu, she led the National Choral for "El Sistema" in Venezuela. She has prepared choirs for distinguished conductors such as Jose Antonio Abreu, Gustavo Dudamel, Alfredo Rugeles, Alberto Grau, Maria Guinand, Eduardo Marturet, Sir Simon Rattle, Claudio Abbado, Zubin Mehta, Helmuth Rilling, and Krzysztof Penderecki, among others. She has been invited as a guest professor for the Conductors Without Borders Program, International Federation of Choral Music (IFCM), America Cantat, and GOOGLE, among others, and is part of the staff of Florida International University (FIU), Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO). Currently living in Florida, received the special recognition "Un Maestro Especial" from UNIVISION 23. She is the founding conductor of Encantus Voices & Ensemble and Silver Club of Doral and leads the Music Program at AcadeMir Charter School East in Doral.
