I am an Engineer. I have a Masters degree in Botany and a Ph. D. in Agricultural Sciences.

My passion is to teach, that is why I care about excellence in education and I have built a wide experience in this field.

My Bachelors is from FIU in Business Administration and Masters is from Barry University in Elementary Education.

My name is Ms. Diaz, and I am excited to be joining the Academir family this year as a fifth grade ELA teacher.  I have been an educator for 15 years and hold a Master's degree in Education with a STEM focus.  Throughout my career, I have been passionate about creating a positive, engaging classroom where every student feels, valued, supported, and inspired to succeed.  

I believe that every child can learn, grow, and succeed when they are challenged, encouraged.  I look forward to partnering with students and families to make this an exciting, successful, and memorable school year filled with learning, growth, and achievement.
