Open House Information

Scott Charter School Open House for the 2023-2024 school year is scheduled for Tuesday, August 1st, 2023, from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM.  Parents of students in kindergarten through 12th grade may come by at any time during this time frame to meet their teachers, pick up class schedules, complete beginning-of-the-year paperwork, and turn in school supplies.

Breakfast & Lunch 

• Students will eat breakfast in the cafeteria. 

• High school students may have an opportunity to participate in second chance breakfast at the end of 1st period.

• Students will eat lunch with their class with assigned seating in the cafeteria.  

Activity & Recess 

• Kindergarten - 6th grade students will have physical activity in two 20-minute increments during the day. 

Arrival & Dismissal 

• Students that arrive between 7:00-7:45 will report to the cafeteria.

• When students arrive after 7:45, they will go directly to their classroom or first period. 

• Students will stay in their classrooms in the afternoon for dismissal. 

• Car riders and bus riders will begin dismissal at 3:15. 

Learning Platforms

• All grade levels and classroom teachers will be utilizing Google Classroom as the primary learning platform for completing and submitting assignments, accessing daily learning agendas, and utilizing curriculum resources. 

• High school students may utilize Virtual Arkansas to participate in virtual learning for courses not available on campus.
