Principal, Elizabeth Peper

Mrs. Elizabeth Peper currently serves as the building principal at Scott Charter School. Mrs. Peper holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Science in Education in Education Leadership from Henderson State University, as well as currently working towards earning her Educational Specialist degree in District Level Leadership that should be completed by May 2022. She started her educational journey teaching fourth grade math and science in the El Dorado School District from 2013 - 2016 before serving as the fourth grade teacher at Scott Charter School. Since 2016, Mrs. Peper has served Scott Charter School as the school counselor, aftercare program coordinator, academic facilitator, and assistant principal.

She believes one can establish and broaden their education only by acting as an active participant in the process. Education is not a "one-size-fits-all" concept, whether it be based on the topics of instruction or the delivery method in which the instruction is presented. The educational experience of students should be tailored to best meet their needs, align to their interests, and be presented in a manner in which they learn best with only the outcome for all remaining the same: holistic growth, individualized achievement, the attainment of skills, and equitable preparation for each individual to embark and demonstrate success in the next step of their journey. Mrs. Peper's ultimate goal is to work diligently to be an effective school leader by growing the students and staff at Scott Charter School to make a significant contribution to our transformational society with future generations of critical thinkers, problem solvers, leaders, and survivors with the characteristics of perseverance and determinacy.

Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her husband, Alex, and her three children, Jacob, John, and James.
