Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of Economics, Business and Accounting of the University of São Paulo (FEA/USP), affiliated with NEREUS – the Center for Regional and Urban Economics at the University of São Paulo. Adjunct Professor in the Department of Economics at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) and recipient of a CNPq Productivity Fellowship. I hold a PhD in Applied Economics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), completed in 2018, a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from UFPB (2014), and a Bachelor’s degree from the State University of Rio Grande do Norte (UERN) completed in 2010. I currently serve as Vice-Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Economics (PPGE) at UFPB.
My research interests include social economics, impact evaluation and public policy; labor market dynamics; and political and social economy (inequality and health). I have experience with data management and econometric modeling, with a strong emphasis on R and Python. I design and teach courses for ENAP focused on Machine Learning using R and Python.
I participate in interdisciplinary research projects and groups and serve as Deputy Coordinator of the Laboratory of Economics and Policy Evaluation (LEAP), where we conduct academic research and consulting projects in collaboration with government agencies.
