Argentina is a land of extremes! It boasts the highest literacy rate in South America and the highest point in the Southern Hemisphere - Mount Aconcagua (6,962 metres) which lies in Argentina’s Province of Mendoza; and the lowest point, - Laguna del Carbon (-105 metres) - in the Province of Santa Cruz. Also, the hottest and coldest temperatures ever recorded in South America, both occurred in Argentina!
It is an Argentinian tradition to eat gnocchi (potato dumplings called ñoquis in Argentina) on the 29th of each month, a habit probably introduced by Italian immigrants. Gnocchi – made of potato, flour and salt- were a cheap meal, ideal for the last days of the month when money was tight. Argentinians have the custom of placing money under their plate of gnocchi, to attract good luck and fortune for the coming month. As a tourist in Argentina, you’ll notice that many restaurants serve a special gnocchi menu on the 29th.

I love to eat seafood. The word Panama is ancient word from our natives which means abundance of fish and animals. We have two oceans, the Pacific and the Atlantic, so you can imagine how much we eat seafood in our country.
Panama is not only worldwide known for the Panama Canal, but also for its beautiful crystal-clear waters like the beaches in the San Blas Islands. They are on the Atlantic and during summer, from January to March, we have a lot of tourism here from many parts of the world. You can camp on the Islands with the natives for only 10 dollars per night.

In Puerto Rico we celebrate Three Kings day during Christmas (Jan 6).
We have the coqui which is like a small frog that sings all night. Here is a video of it on this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eFvjgMP-LU
Puerto Rico has a beautiful rainforest called “El Yunque”. It is the only tropical rainforest in the United States National Forest System and the United States Forest Service.
I also love Isla Verdes Beach. Its fabulous miles of stretched warm waters and pearly white sand is my favorite place on Earth.
I miss our plantain garlicky mash called MOFONGO and roasted pig called LECHON ASADO.
Amongst the many wonders that form a part of the planet earth, there isn’t anything like the Bio Bay, located in the country of Puerto Rico. This bay is unique because it glows at night, turning into one of the most beautiful sights seen in the world. With the rich presence of Pyrodinium Bahamense, the single-celled organism behind the amazing phenomenon, Bio Bay stands as the brightest bioluminescent bay in the world. At night, when stars start blinking in the sky, Bio Bay treats the spectators with the amazing glow of blue-green light. The Bioluminescent Bay, also known as Mosquito Bay, is located along the Caribbean coast on the southern shore of Vieques Island of Puerto Rico, which is a commonwealth of the United States. Puerto Rico also features two other bio luminescent bays: one located in the Laguna Grande in the town of Fajardo, while the other can be found in La Parguera near the town of Lajas.
