Drumline at Abundance Educational Academy

The Drumline Program at Abundance Educational Academy led by Mr. Bobby Jackson gives students the opportunity to develop musical talent, discipline, teamwork, and leadership through percussion performance. Students learn the fundamentals of rhythm, timing, stick control, music reading, and performance techniques while building confidence and school spirit.

Our drumline welcomes students of all skill levels. Whether a student is picking up drumsticks for the first time or has previous percussion experience, they will receive instruction designed to help them grow as musicians and leaders.

Students participate in regular rehearsals and perform at school programs, community events, parades, and other special occasions, proudly representing Abundance Educational Academy. Through dedication and practice, members develop responsibility, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence.

Dance Team

The Abundance Educational Academy Dance Team, led by Mrs. Coretta Ware, provides students with the opportunity to develop their dance skills while building confidence, discipline, teamwork, and leadership. Through engaging instruction and performance experiences, students grow as performers and ambassadors for their school.

Cheer Team

The Abundance Educational Academy Cheer Team, led by Ms. Latoya Taylor provides students with the opportunity to develop leadership, confidence, athleticism, and school spirit in a positive and supportive environment. Team members learn the fundamentals of cheerleading, including motions, jumps, chants, basic stunts, dance, and performance techniques while promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.

The Cheer Team proudly represents Abundance Educational Academy at school events, athletic competitions, pep rallies, community programs, and other special occasions. Students are encouraged to demonstrate dedication, responsibility, respect, and excellence both on and off the performance floor.

Basketball Team

The Abundance Educational Academy Basketball Team provides student-athletes with the opportunity to develop their basketball skills while building character, discipline, teamwork, and leadership. Through structured practices, skill development, and competitive play, students learn the value of hard work, perseverance, and sportsmanship both on and off the court.

Our basketball program emphasizes individual growth and team success by teaching the fundamentals of the game, including ball handling, shooting, passing, defense, rebounding, and game strategy. Student-athletes are encouraged to demonstrate integrity, responsibility, and respect while representing their school with excellence.
