'A' BATTERY
ASSOCIATION INCORPORATED

The 'A' Battery Association Inc is dedicated to promoting the friendship & welfare of past and present members of 'A' Battery, Royal Regiment of Australian Artillery (RRAA).

This is an association of current and ex-service personnel who have served time in (had a posting to) 'A' Battery and/or 'A' Field Battery in the RRAA (or its designation at their time of serving). 'A' Battery is the oldest Unit in the Australian Military and the longest continuously extant.

'A' Battery wears the White Lanyard on the left shoulder, unlike all other RRAA units who wear the lanyard on the right shoulder and is the only Australian Artillery Unit to bear the Kings and Queens Colours in Banner form. The Colours for all other Artillery Gun Regiments/Units are the guns.
