BAND BOOSTERS
ABOUT
Every parent or guardian of a band student is a band booster. Our sole purpose is to support the Band Director, the students, and the overall band programs at Walter Williams High School and, as it is an integral part, Turrentine Middle School through planning, volunteering, and funding. We purchase instruments, music, uniforms, and equipment. We provide an annual college scholarship to a deserving band student. We chaperone events, provide transportation to and from football games and other activities. We also plan fun events for the students including the annual awards picnic. We partner together to raise money to fund this supplement funding by working concessions stands, selling fruit and cookie dough, and carrying out other fundraising events.
