Class

At Southeast Alamance, theatre is for everyone! Whether you’re brand new to the stage or ready for your next big role. Our classes let you explore acting, directing, and design in a hands-on, supportive environment. You’ll work together to create performances you’re proud of, build new skills, and discover the part of theatre that inspires you most 

Onstage, Backstage, or both!

Theatre Beginning 

A fun and welcoming introduction to theatre! Students learn the basics of acting, movement, and stage presence, culminating in a Night of Scenes performance.

Theatre Intermediate 

 Builds on foundational skills with a deeper dive into acting techniques and ensemble work. Students collaborate on a fully staged Class Play.

Theatre Accomplished 

 For dedicated theatre students ready to refine advanced acting techniques and explore challenging roles. Works alongside Advanced Theatre to present the Class Play.

Theatre Advanced 

 A pre-professional level course for committed performers, focusing on complex characters, directing basics, and leadership in productions. Partners with Accomplished Theatre for the Class Play.

Technical Theatre Beginning 

 Learn the behind-the-scenes magic of stagecraft, including set, lights, costumes, and sound. Students design and build the set for our Spring Musical.
