It's time to turn the spotlight on the mentors, the motivators, and the "I-stayed-up-until-midnight-grading" superstars. Teacher Appreciation Week is almost here, and it's the perfect moment to say the two words they don't hear nearly enough: Thank You.
The PTO and admin team have a few things planned throughout the week. We've also come up with some ideas for YOU. Please participate in as much as you can, and feel free to spoil your teachers in any other ways you wish.
Monday 5/4
A GREAT DAY TO SPREAD SUNSHINE
PTO will travel around the school with a cart full of snacks to share with our staff. We will also share happy notes with them. Notes from students and families about how appreciated they are. If you would like to contribute happy notes of sunshine to any of our staff members, please fill out this google form, as many times as you wish.

IT'S TACO TUESDAY!!
PTO is providing lunch for our staff. The admin team and parent volunteers will work together to supervise the cafeteria, so that the teachers can eat lunch together. If you are available to donate some time to this endeavor, please find the sign-up on the PTO's dojo page. Or, email us at smepto@gmail.com.

A GREAT DAY TO SPOIL YOUR TEACHER!!
We are hoping that you are able to send something in this day, to spoil your teacher. As well as any other staff member that you wish to show your appreciation to. Use the "Staff Favorites" tab above to help learn what your teacher might love to receive.Â

WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY FOR A SNACK BAR
Parents are being asked to donate treats for the teachers to enjoy throughout the day. PTO will set everything up for the staff. If you are able to donate anything, you can find the sign-up on ClassDojo (sent out by PTO). If you are having trouble with Dojo, feel free to email us at smepto@gmail.com.

IT'S ALMOST THE WEEKEND!
PTO is bringing in Bower's Brews, a local coffee truck, for our staff. We're also hoping that any gifts from families can be sent in this day. A card, handmade drawing, or flower for your favorite staff members will definitely bring a smile to their faces!
