Important Eligibility Information

In accordance with NCDPI Policy ATHL-005 (Student Participation Rules), all participating student-athletes must meet the following requirements:

• Eligibility Based on PREVIOUS 'FULL' SEMESTER:

  • First year 6th graders are automatically eligible (excluding football)

  • Passed at least 70% of classes taken

  • Attendance rate of 85% or greater

  • Student is making sufficient progress towards being promoted to the next grade level  

  • If eligible at the beginning of the semester, student is eligible through entire semester
