What is School Social Work?
School Social Workers hold a degree in social work and are trained mental health professionals. We provide services to address the social-emotional barriers of students and families that impact students' ability to be academically and socially successful. We serve as the link between the home, school and community in providing direct and indirect services to students, families, and school personnel. We are a member of our school's Student Support Services Team.
