    • Please wait outside of your first block classroom lined up against the wall.
    • Please remain silent during announcements.

Entering the classroom:

    • Please wait in line outside of class until invited inside.
    • Please enter the classroom quietly and sit in your assigned seat.
    • Please have all needed class materials as you will NOT be able to return to your cubby.

Cubbies:

    • You will only visit your cubby in your third block class and during cubby breaks.
    • You will not be allowed to visit your cubby during instructional time.
    • Please leave your cell phones turned off in your backpack in your cubby.

Lunch/ Transitions

    • Please move in a quiet line when going to lunch as we have to pass through the building where other students are still in class.
    • Please move quickly between transitions from class to class to be sure you are on time to class.

End of Day:

    • Please pack up and sit with your belongings at your desk.
    • Please wait to be dismissed once the announcements have been read over the intercom.

Tutoring

  • Homework Haven is an option for students who are unable to stay after school. It is held in the school Library from 7:20-7:50. You will also be able to receive help from a teacher if you choose to come.

Lost or Missing Work

  • If students have lost or missing work, extra copies of all assignments are in the "Green Bucket" at the front of the classroom. Students are expected to get extra copies of lost and/or missing work independently, and turn them in to their color cart at the front of the classroom upon completion. As a reminder, all assignments are 10 points off per day.

If a Student is Absent

  • If a student is absent from an instructional day, his or her work for the missed class time will be found in the "Were You Absent" folders on the board. There is a folder for each block, and student names are on the work in the folder. Students are expected to check this location after an absence for work, which may include class work and homework assignments, class notes, and/or text to annotate. Students are expected to catch up on work due to an absence either at home or during Mastery time, and may use copies of the teacher notes provided in the "Green Bucket" during Mastery time or from a classmate in order to complete notes and/or text annotation done together during instructional time.
