I have been a registered nurse (RN) since 2006. I currently hold certifications in infusion nursing (CRNI) and school nursing (NCSN) My primary goal is to keep your child healthy and safe at school.

School nurses support student success by providing health care through assessment, intervention, and follow-up for all children within the school setting. In collaboration with the school social worker, counselor, psychologist and staff, we address the physical, mental, emotional, and social health needs of students and support their achievement in the learning process. Health care for chronic and acute illnesses, as well as injuries in the school setting, is a major focus of the role of the school nurse. School nurses are responsible for medication administration, health care procedures, and the development of health care plans. I also train other staff to care for your child if he/she has a chronic health condition, gets injured or becomes ill at school.
