I am a North Carolina native; born and raised in Hendersonville, NC, in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.  I graduated from Lenoir Rhyne University in 2007 with my bachelors in Elementary Education and Spanish. I am excited to embark on my seventeenth year of teaching. I taught fourth and third grade for eleven years in Chatham County. After relocating to Mebane, I wanted to experience teaching in the community where I live. SME is less than a mile from my home, and I love working and living in the "positively charming" town of Mebane. I feel like I have found my home! This will be my sixth year teaching at SME, and I feel blessed to serve this community and become a part of your families.
