Hello and a warm welcome to my page.

My name is Vanessa Clark and I am beyond excited to be your child's teacher for this upcoming school year. Even COVID can not contain my excitement to virtually "hug" and love you. This is my 5th year teaching, but the past 4 years have been at Sylvan Elementary. I have made so many friends (big and small) throughout my time. This year is going to be the best one yet and I look forward to helping your child grow and laugh (mainly at me :)) during this time.

Incase you want to learn a little more about me:

I was born and raised in Upstate NY. I graduated from the State University of New York at Cortland(GO RED DRAGONS) in 2016. I quickly moved to North Carolina. I taught Pre-K for 1 year and discovered an opportunity at Sylvan and took it. My husband and I met in 2011 and we have been dating ever since. We finally got married in 2019 and we have two beautiful children with 4 paws each (Jaxx and Tita) and a daughter we welcomed in 2020. They sure keep us on our toes, but I would not change our family for the world. Jaxx loves to help with school videos and Math is his favorite subject to CO- Teach with Mrs. Clark. As the year goes on, you will see both of them helping our your little people learn and grow.

My favorite colors are ANYTHING with SPARKLES because they make ANYONE feel in charge and on top of the world.

Carolina Hurricanes & NY Rangers (Hockey)

NEW YORK YANKEES (Baseball; I am a hard fan and love watching them at Yankee Stadium)

I love to travel, experience new things, listen to music, and celebrate anything. I can not wait to hear what your child and I discover TOGETHER this year.
