What is the United Way Campaign?
ABSS employees are no strangers to giving back to our community. The United Way Campaign presents an opportunity for us to continue our impact by helping local partners. Funding stays local and our community grows stronger.
Why United Way?
Giving to the United Way of Alamance County allows your donation to stay LOCAL, helping our community grow stronger. United Way responds to needs from the community and supports community partners throughout our county.
The mission of the United Way of Alamance County is to mobilize the caring power of our community to advance the common good. To do this, they lead collective action around bold goals in education, financial stability, and health. More specifically, they live united by:
Convening partners around shared community goals.
Aligning community giving, advocating, and volunteering to achieve the goals.
Supporting strategic work that advances the goals.

Our Goal
In honor of the 25th Anniversary of Alamance-Burlington Schools, we are challenging each site to have at least 25 donors give at least $25 so that we can raise $25,000.00!
Join Our ABSS Campaign
A gift in any amount will go a long way in helping our community. Consider giving back today!
Our campaign is going paperless! This year donors can utilize the United Way Harness giving site. A small processing fee will be applied per transaction.
Give a one time or a monthly donation (takes the place of payroll deduction) directly to the United Way site or select the Round-up option, where you can elect to round-up your purchases to the next dollar by linking your debit/credit card.
All donations support the United Way Community Fund. This fund supports multiple local non-profit agencies that serve our neighbors in need.
Please select your giving site in the drop-down menu when making your online donation.
This will allow ABSS to collect data and reward incentives based on site donations.

Increase your chances of winning! Any additional increments of $25 will generate additional entries into the drawings. For example, if you give $100, your name will be entered into the drawing 4 times. All entries stay in the drawing through the entire campaign. You have multiple chances to win!

First site to reach the ABSS goal (25 donors that give at least $25 each) will win a check for a staff celebration
Top two sites with the highest amount of dollars raised by December 15 will win a check for a staff celebration
Top two sites with the most individual donors by December 15 will win a check for a staff celebration
