Meet Christine
My name is Christine Wysokowski and I am the music teacher at McCarthy-Towne School.
A little about myself:
I earned my undergraduate degree in music education in 2005 from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a masters degree in music education in 2010 from Gordon College. I began my teaching career at the Cotting School in Lexington, MA where I taught music to students with special needs. Most recently, I taught music and chorus in Maynard, MA. I am beginning my fifteenth year of teaching elementary music and chorus. I am excited to now be teaching in Acton, a wonderful and culturally rich town, close to where I live in Westford with my husband and two children.
The overall philosophy of the music program at McCarthy-Towne is to nurture and inspire the musical ability that all children naturally possess, while developing music skills, and a lifelong love of music and music making.
