ELL Services at Gates

At Gates, students who speak languages other than English are screened. If we find that they need support in learning English, we provide support in the areas of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

In Kindergarten, the ELL support is always provided in the classroom. For students in grades 1-6, we do a combination of in-class support and pull-out services.
