What We Do

The Green Team meets every other week on Wednesday mornings.

We are responsible for all of Conant's recycling duties. This includes collecting recycling around the school and transferring it to the recycling dumpster.

We also supervise the composting in the cafeteria during all lunches. We teach other students how to sort the compost, liquids, recycle, and trash.

The Green Team consults with Kate Crosby, the Acton-Boxborough School District Energy Advisor, to reduce energy usage at Conant.

We coordinate with the Acton Gardening Club to replenish the gardens around Conant.
