• Is the author an expert on the topic? (Or, did the author consult with experts?)

A: Accuracy

• Is the information supported by evidence?

• Can you verify any of the information in other sources?

• Does the language or tone seem unbiased and free of emotion?

P: Purpose

• What is the purpose of the information (inform, teach, persuade, sell, entertain, etc.?)

• Are there opinions?
