On March 12, 2018, a series on young achievers on Chronicle (WCVB in Boston) profiled Shin Lim, Class of 2010, who has been called the "World's Greatest Sleight of Hand Artist" by the Huffington Post. The Channel 5 segment takes him back to his high school days in Acton when he started on his road to performance stardom.
UPDATE: In the past year, Shin has gone on to win the 13th season of America's Got Talent and then to capture first place in the AGT spin-off, America's Got Talent: The Champions!
Varshini Prakash, Class of 2011, was the guest of Senator Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.) at the 2019 State of the Union on February 5. Varshini is Executive Director and co-founder of Sunrise, a movement of young people working to stop climate change. Since her graduation from UMass, Amherst, she has been working to organize people to fight for the health and well-being of future generations. She was recently named to the Grist Top 50 Fixers for “people cooking up the boldest, most ambitious solutions to humanity's biggest challenges."
Theodora Nestorova, Class of 2014, was selected as the 2018-2019 J. William Fulbright Study/Research Grant Recipient to Vienna, Austria where she is currently studying and conducting research. She graduated from Oberlin College & Conservatory of Music in May of 2018.

The Colonial Club held the Thirteenth Colonial Club Hall of Fame Induction Banquet on Saturday, April 28th, at the Wedgewood Pines Country Club. For more information see the Colonial Club website.
On April 5th, Dawn Griffin Bentley, Class of 1991, was the featured speaker at the ABRHS Student Leadership Workshop, conducted three times during the year by the Counseling Department. Dawn, who is Assistant Superintendent for Student Services for the Acton-Boxborough Regional School District, is pictured with Todd Chicko, Counseling Department Chairperson.

Eight A-B alums from the classes of 2007, 2012 and 2014 were panelists at the school's first Alumni Connections program on January 31, 2018, sharing their experiences about transitioning from A-B to college as well as the processes of choosing majors and careers.
On December 21st, members of the Class of 2017 and other recent graduates attended the annual Alumni Reception in the Counseling Center, connecting with current students, staff members and each other!
Tim Bassett (center), Class of 1995, was named to the head football coach position at A-B beginning in the fall of 2017, replacing long-time head coach Bill Maver, who retired in June 2017. Jason Brady (right), Class of 1993, is also on the coaching staff.
Andrew Bunyard, Class of 2002, returned to A-B to speak to a Leadership Workshop held on April 6, 2017.
