STUDENT K-2 Access: Seesaw Classroom
Seesaw is the platform that K-2 educators will use to engage with students and deliver weekly activities.
Students will access SeeSaw using their school-issued iPad or Chromebook. The web address for Student Seesaw sign in is app.seesaw.me.
Teachers with Seesaw classes will send student class codes and QR codes home via email or mail.
REMINDER: Home Learning Student Sign In QR and Text Codes are never to be shared publicly or through social media.
FAMILY ACCESS: Seesaw Family App (K-2)
** This is a separate app from Seesaw Class App. Families will need both
If using an iPad, iPhone, or Android device, Seesaw requires downloading a free app from the App Store (iPad or iPhone) or the Google Play Store (Android device). Click here for information on the SEESAW FAMILY app and downloads for your mobile device.
Teachers with Seesaw classes will share an Invite Link. Families will use this link to create a family account. Once approved by the teacher, families will sign in using the account they created.
If using a laptop or desktop, families access Seesaw from a web browser. The web address for Family Seesaw sign in is app.seesaw.me.
Families choose "I'm a Family Member" and sign in with the account they created.
Families will receive classroom announcement via the Seesaw Family App and will only see their child's work once a teacher has approved it. They will be able to comment on and share their child's work via this app.

STUDENT Access 3-12: Google Classroom
Students access using their district-issued Chrombook device via their AB Schools G Suite Accounts. The web address for Student Google Classroom sign in is classroom.google.com.
REMINDER: Student district usernames and passwords are never to be shared publicly or through social media.
FAMILY ACCESS: Google Classroom (Grades 3-12)
Families will need access to email.
Families do not use an app or web address to connect to a Google Classroom. Teachers with Google Classrooms will send families an email invitation to receive summaries of their student's Google Classroom activity. When a family guardian accepts an email invitation from a teacher, they will receive regular emails about their childs’s upcoming work and activities if a teacher chooses to use those Google Classroom for parent communication.
