Classroom works with students ABSchools Google accounts. All activity in Google classroom is done online. It is used as a classroom learning management system (LMS) so that teachers can assign work to students, communicate with students, and have a home-school connection.
Teachers can attach documents, links, and images to their assignments and select dates and times in which to send assignments out. Teachers can also differentiate work for individuals within a Google Classroom. Co-teachers can be invited to join Classrooms.
Students sign in to Classroom, see their upcoming work, and complete it online. When a student turns in work, the teacher sees it on the Stream page and is able to give feedback remotely.
Families can be invited by teachers as Guardians. Guardians can not access Classrooms or their student's assignments; however they can receive regular email summaries about their student’s work and classes if the teacher choses to do so. These emails include information about missing work, upcoming work, and class activity.
